Meet the Doctors

Brian Chmiel, Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Brian Chmiel Dr. Brian Chmiel, Chiropractor, runs Premier Health of Golden Valley, Minnesota. He graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota in 2008 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in human biology. It is the only Chiropractic school in the state, but also has one of the most rigorous education curriculums for the chiropractic field in the country.

Dr. Chmiel spent his undergraduate years at St. Cloud State. He was born and raised in a little town called Mora. The second (and, possibly, loudest) of five children, he loves to spend time with his siblings and their growing families. Dr. Chmiel lives in Brooklyn Park, where he spends his time golfing. He enjoys theater, football (a true Viking fan — no Packer backer here, folks!), weight lifting, bowling, music, video games and movies. His idea of the perfect day is bobber fishing out of the boat.

Yamaris Lopez, Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Yamaris Lopez is a chiropractor at Premier Health of Golden Valley Minnesota. She graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University College in Bloomington Minnesota in November of 2022 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree with a Sports Medicine Emphasis. Her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedicine was achieved at the University of Puerto Rico, Aguadilla. Dr. Yamaris Lopez is fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows her to effectively communicate with all of her patients.

Dr. Lopez was born and raised in Lares Puerto Rico where her parents still live. In Puerto Rico she enjoyed being outside and active with friends, playing volleyball, and of course, going to the Beach. She moved to MN with her two sisters back in 2018. In MN she still enjoys the outdoors (not in winter), trying new restaurants, weightlifting, and exploring the city with her fiancé.

Casey – Wellness Events Coordinator

Casey started her position as the Wellness Events Coordinator for Premier Health of Golden Valley Summer of 2018. Through a balance of engagement with their patients and community outreach her position has proved to be everything she was hoping for. She enjoys helping connect people to alternative ways to look at their health and take care of their bodies.

This Blaine High School graduate was unsure of what she wanted to do, so she went to Anoka Ramsey Community College and graduated with an Associates in Arts degree. After college she took on a sales position at the YMCA and knew she found her passion working with people. She lives in Anoka with
her boyfriend and spends most of her time with family and friends. Summers are spent playing softball and enjoying the lake while the winter months revolve around watching her Green Bay Packers – GO
