Prevent back pain before you search for a chiropractor near me.

As a current patient of Premier Health, I have learned 4 chiro life hack as 4 lifestyle habits that you can apply as quickly as today. Implementing these four strategists have reduced my back pain and strengthened my back to where I feel comfortable that pain will not return to easily.

I’ve noticed that there are four major things that play a huge role when it comes to my own spine’s well being.

The first thing Dr. Perez Chiropractic suggested was to correct the posture through sleep.

The posture is not only the first thing that comes to mind when people hear chiropractic, but it needs to be said again and again. It was the reason why I came in.

If you sleep in the way I have been, then you’ll be doing your back a disservice. The best form is to be on your back, with arms on your side. If you’re curled up in a fetal position, with your back already curved unnaturally, then after decades of habit you’ll live the life I have. A weak back and poor posture with peppers of pain happening early in life.

Why your sleep posture matters?

Being on your side presents a way for your back to have a weird sway in it as you as well as potentially pinch your nerves. If you  sleep with your hands under your pillow, then that’s what I kind of did as well – then you’ll know why not to sleep like that.

It is comfy, but is getting persistent, daily pain worth being comfy a few times?

The quick fixes is to sleep on your back, again.

The second from Premier Health Chiropractic was promoting the flexibility of the back.

What you do want to prevent is having your back ever go out and pinch your nerve. My father went through that with a weird rando doing an adjustment and even though it was corrected – he was never the most flexible man.

So when he was caught unaware, it pinched his nerves permanently. This Minneapolis Chiropractor did help him reduce his pain of 10 to 0 in a matter of months, as shown in his review, but if he was flexible enough he would be able to prevent having been bed ridden until he was able to get true chiropractic care.

If you ever feel like a chiropractic company in Minneapolis would be a good choice, by all means seek one (hint hint). But really do think about what would happen if you did your own chiropractic care or had someone not trained to do it to you verses someone that can treat you at any time you want. Its not too bad to think about, right?

That being said, if you DO have pain where you think a chiropractic care could go in to help, I highly suggest that you don’t go at it yourself. You could put ice and heat on it until the pain seems to lessen.

What happens if your back is not flexible?

However, I strongly recommend that you do not exercise if your nerves are inflamed or swollen. Case in point being my dad, where he instantly had a nerve pinch with that whole thing happen to him as he was playing softball… and he continued to play softball!

He went from having pain of a 5… to a 10 for a full month.

Then he flew in from HAWAII, to visit his wonderful son, who made sure that Dr. Perez over Premier Health could handle him well.

(I truly cannot talk him up enough)

Anyway. The fast way is to make sure you stretch for 5 minutes.

It’s not something you’ll do for a while.

It’s just something you get to do now as part of your life.

Plus it keeps you up.

Still,

What I’ve noticed is that once your habits of sleep are being worked on, and your back is a bit more flexible. Now it’s time to add some strength to your spine.

Third tip from this Minnesota Chiropractor to get a healthy back with exercise

I’ve learned from Dr Castillo from Premier Health that adding muscle to your vertical column is what adds resilience and actual protection from what life throws at you. Dr. Castillo is an excellent and upcoming Minnesota Chiropractor at the Dr. Perez branch of Premier Health by the way.

Exercising can be done in your morning routine, and before you fast forward through the “exercise” I recommend consider the first five minutes of your morning.

We’re in zombie mode. We’re usually eating and doing our morning routine without even thinking about it.

What is a decent morning routine?

Doing some sit ups, squats, and taking things slow help you build things up at the pace of your own body and helps to wake you up.

Why do Chiropractic?

It’s not to lose weight or to look good. Its to make sure you don’t look like you are falling apart at the ripe age of 50. You are able to see those pictures.

Just remember. Taking pills is OK when you really need them, and your body will let you know what is happening but pain is a warning light. Its an alarm.

Getting a sore back lets your body heal, but if your body gets hurt or gets misaligned then you’re not going to be able to recover as fast – and no one anticipated getting into an auto or work accident.

Being strong, exercising very minimally lets you make your back stronger. You do need to take into effect some of the mental health, environmental and really a ton of other factors that goes into healing. But keep in mind that a healthy back is a back that heals faster and puts you back in action with less difficulty.

The fourth bit of advice ties in all of the advice from a Chiropractic company in Minneapolis, and that is summed up quite nicely here.

Getting the most from local Chiropractic Care is a little lifestyle change

Many people, like myself, have had pain solved and reduced to ‘nil just by making adjustments to themselves and to the way they handled their local chiropractic care.

The key was to eat proper, exercise, stretch, and stay actively flexible and strong. You’ve seen cats and dogs stretch when they wake up and start running around like the wonderful animals they are – so when I noticed a lot of these things click in I started doing it myself.

I stretch when I Get out of bed more often, even when I get off the couch or office chair.

I find a happy little medium between the things I am able to do despite being a worker trying to fit in time in the day. Each person is unique, and to find the little things they can do to make their column healthy and highly efficient pays high rewards.

I highly suggest that you bring in a little something from this article.

I would love to hear if you have applied Chiropractic best practices to yourself in the comments below.

Unless you are seeking these local Chiropractors, please let us know if what you’ve read was spot on or useful and provided value. Sharing this post would go beyond that, but I’d love to read your comment and learn about how chiropractic can help.

As a patient of Premier Health, you’re more than welcome to get an outsider’s take on Premier Health and I want to thank Premier Health to providing a way for me to write and highlight their skills.
