This is what I thought when I searched for a chiropractor near me.

Hi. I’m writing this as a Premier Health Review as well as sharing 13 things I’ve learned about this Twin Cities Chiropractic near me in a 10 minute post. You’ll learn what exactly Premier Health Chiropractic is and why this little walk in chiropractic company rocks.

Additionally, you will learn many true facts and have take aways so you can have a stronger, healthier life as you have a deeper understanding of chiropractic care directly from an actual and current patient of Premier Health. You may have seen me around on Fridays late afternoons at the Minneapolis chiropractor office.

We’ll be diving into several different themes over this article, starting with information on Chiropractic Care and then diving into actionable tips and things I wish I knew before and during my time as a patient working with chiropractic in Minneapolis.

Let’s get to it!

What exactly is a chiropractor?

Chiropractic Service covers a whole line of pain solving techniques that are practiced by a Chiropractor. which is also called a chiropractic physician.

So, chiropractic medicine treats the weird abnormalities of the spinal column. When the spinal column has something wrong with it, it causes sincere and treatable pain because its all misaligned. These spinal misalignments lower body’s function causing new health problems.

Think about it like this.

When your spine carries all of your nerves from the rest of your body, its sort of like a highway of information connected to your brain, and like our Minneapolis chiropractors describe, blocking a highway creates a lot of anxiety and issues to arise.

When you block off the nerves, the stress gets transferred to the patient’s health. You’ve seen people with bad backs, ongoing pain, and unnatural and drug addled sleep aids that may have an underlying condition.

How do Walk In Chiropractic Offices Start?

They study the posture of your body and basically pull and prod on it. I was kind of seeing this as the first exam to test where my body was weakest at. They asked me to turn my neck around, move my arms and legs, and bend over and show how flexible I am. (I’m not).

If your chiropractor does Xrays, you shouldn’t be scared.

Then came the xrays. Some places don’t offer them.

I’m a local that has tried other places like the Joint Chiropractic, so finding a chiro that does xrays before diving into working on my back was a relief. Some places don’t!

Think about getting into a room with someone who says they can help, they look you up and say that they can just off their eyes alone. With no proper data on our musculoskeletal system. Just a hunch that a crack of the neck helps.

Scary right? Places do just that. X rays are vital for figuring out what’s wrong with the column. For me, I had this condition called “swayback”, which I was aware of my poor posture. But seeing it quite clearly, and how correcting it was possible won me over.

That being said…

Chiropractors and alternative medicine go hand in hand.

Chiros are known for not using the traditional modern medicine to “treat” their patients. They are known for getting and treating at the source.

There is no pill that I am aware of that can correct my posture. Chiropractic works.

But, with that they work hand in hand with patients wanting a more sincere and natural approach to their health.

They work with other alternative medicine companies in Minneapolis. Maybe these local healthcare companies in Minnesota deal with light, water, ultra, or massage that are prescribed to the patients. Maybe they do ionic water baths, (which places like Moe’s Bodyworks in Minneapolis does really interesting work with)…

But the first thing you usually walk into and see is these organizations providing accessible and natural forms of medicine that your family doctor would not prescribe such as acupuncture. It is rare for a chiropractor to provide only one service under their roof – and their patients are much more open to alternative forms of medicine.

Are these Minneapolis Chiros Good? Can I trust them?

Are they licenced? Did they go to an accredited Chiropractic college and put in their decade of education in college focusing on the human body? Just like a regular doctor, chiropractors are everywhere and as long as the office is clean, comfortable, and take x rays and consult you before they charge you give them attention.

If they’ve provided you a level of service before they started negotiating prices, then see what a trial would be.

Right now, I’m able to work with a chiropractor on a biweekly basis, but at first once I saw the Premier Health team at work, I knew I was in decent hands.

How does one become a twin city chiropractor?

To become one you need to have a Chiropractic degree in Chiropractic. These doctors need to be well versed with the chiropractic principles and have practical knowledge. Business knowledge, and customer service because after all they are a business treating patients and clients. They need to truly understand the symptoms that patients bring in. Maybe some common local issues that a chiro might be able to be aware of. Some places have terrible drivers and more auto accidents, and a Good Chiropractic understands the cause and effect of that.

So….

A chiropractor needs to understand both the knowledge side and the professional side. They make between 45k to 102k, but work in many fields. The most common is for themself, in private companies that they may own.

What do you learn at a Minneapolis Chiropractic School?

Chiropractic schools teach a variety of manipulative methods to reduce pain for the patient. I can recall several techniques needed to tweak and align my back and legs. These schools provide these natural techniques to cure common joint problems and let their students practice in the school.

In order to get admitted, the student needs to have some level of proficiency and have graduated from college already. They usually have a degree in science or arts that does have a focus in Human Biology, chemistry, or physiology.

That being said, these chiro schools have their own program and prestige that comes with it, but many do not cover the education and teach how to run a chiropractic company of their own. Premier Health does seek for other like minded and talented chiropractors, and the South Minneapolis Chiropractors share this philosophy as well.

So, how can you find the best Chiropractor in South Minneapolis?

Without networking, its very hit or miss when finding a good chiro. The signals that I go off of are if they have taken the time to have a clean office, if they do exams and xrays, and if I can properly find them.

I also do look at their reviews as well.

So living in South Minneapolis, there are a ton of chiropractors I can find, but what I did to find Dr. Perez was reaching out to him directly. We connected right away, but I did so after an attempt to reach him after some research was done.

I googled up South Minneapolis chiropractors, and instantly found the Dr. Perez chiropractic office near me with many reviews.

So I found them.

What I found out was something very interesting.

Working with a Minneapolis Latino Chiropractor

Folks work with chiropractors because of their lifestyle and body’s structure.

However, when you need a chiro in the Minneapolis latino community, there are only so many people you can work with.

The Dr. Perez branch of Premier Health services the chiropractic care of Lake Street. Which is incredibly interesting as there are several other places such as Twin City Chiropractic and Lyn Lake Chiropractic right around the corner… but they are all different in their own way.

There doesn’t seem to be a specific Latino Chiropractic office that I’ve seen. The other Premier Health offices serve their own communities, and the South Minneapolis location services a very clear and safe practice.

But if you’re out of the state, I usually would go look up Google, or on different websites that do offer extensive searches for a wide range of chiropractors of all regions. You’ll be able to see the chiros nearby if you simply type in chiropractor near me, but I Cannot vouch for the ones near you.

Chiropractic & chronic pain

When you take medicine, it may treat the symptom and not the cause. Take a Tylenol, and the headache goes away but returns the next day. Then the medicine builds up and your liver works harder and harder. Take too much and you may experience liver failure which 1 in 4 Americans are at risk at getting.

Chiropractic and sinus infections

So when I learned that doctors can’t even guarantee that they can cure sinus infections, it caused an alarm to go up. With alternative forms of medicine, I’ve decided to give them a chance and see if it could work or not. Instead of being offered a quick pill, we’ve seen a solution come out of asking a local Chiro about Sinus Infections.

What we did was realize that sinus infections were really caused by fungal infections. So its a yeast or fungus that is living inside the body. Antibiotics kill bacteria, and so when people mistakenly get prescribed that it may actually kill things holding back the sinus infection and let that grow even more!

What I got from Premier Health was a suggestion to use either a personal Neti Pot, which helps drain your sinus or use apple cider vinegar. Using 1tsp in the neti pot cleared it up.

They did offer other suggestions such as use sea salts or saline solutions, or even a garlic capsule since they change the body’s chemistry and fight infections. But the neti pot with apple cider cleared mine up. I sleep just fine, and there’s no need to any other medicine that would otherwise harm me.

Another set of proof that chiropractic helps, specifically the Chiros of Premier Health.

People compare cash chiropractor in Minneapolis with their wallet.

Patients that aren’t able to cover chiropractic care with insurance see some practices as weird and shady. Modern Healthcare can’t handle other forms of medicine, and while personal injury and auto accident treatments are insured… decades of spinal wear and tear are not. Which is weird and should be prevented and solved if there is pain limiting a person’s life.

Anyway.

Who really does want to see their chiropractor once or twice a week, and pay hundreds of dollars to get their back adjusted? To sleep well at night? To perform at work? To have less pain? And to be less irritable and fun to be around?

When you a chiropractor is able to fix that back, you have a way to focus on yourself instead of the pain that arises. I’ve been in your shoes too. My back problems have been kinda severe where I was unable to tie my shoes for weeks at a time. I had a terrible back posture after working in an office job.

However, people with back pain compare what is able to be solved for pennies. They do try cheap forms of pain treatment that damages their liver (read: pills), but they do not need to come back to a chiro if they are young. Its normally something corrective and they’re off and doing just fine.

Chiropractic Lockjaw Solved! Chiro fixes Mandibular Joint Dysfunction

The jaw acts as a hinge with the spine, and when they disk gets displaced it causes TMJ. So when you’re unable to have a painless experience with opening and closing your mouth, it may lead to severe problems. Grinding and crunching sounds may even come out when you’re working your jaw. No – you’re not eating food, that’s the bone scraping your own body parts.

When people suffer with pain, they just get interested with treating the pain and not the symptom. They think it will take longer to deal with the long-term pain, so they mask it quickly.

However, chiropractic is gaining popularity and so when you meet with a Twin Cities chiropractic, you’ll see that not only is it fast, it’s also incredibly easy to identify the cause of the problem.

The chiros see that it may be related to family history or lifestyle, but a course of action may require you to be more of an active participant. They may offer a fast way to reduce the pain, but after a few months the chiropractor will want to treat it at its source.

After a while, the massages and the observed treatments with chiropractic does show that treatment will provide relaxation that will reduce the clenching of the jaw, and the biofeedback and other methods will allow the lockjaw to be treated with chiro care.
